CSUF engineering alumnus Henry Martinez is senior vice president of water infrastructure with Cordoba Corp., a nationally recognized engineering, program and construction management firm specializing in transportation, education and facilities, energy and water.

Previously, Mr. Martinez held executive-level leadership roles at Edison International, managing and investing in water infrastructure facilities, water contracts, federal and state permitting for hydro, fossil and renewable power facilities. He oversaw development of desalination projects with water agencies in the Central Valley, and development of infrastructure programs throughout Southern California. He served as acting general manager at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and was vice president of hydro operations at the Tennessee Valley Authority, where he was responsible for 29 power plants, one pump storage and more than 40 main and diversion dams on the Tennessee River and its tributaries.

Mr. Martinez is a board member of the Plaza Community Services, an East Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that supports children, youth and families in need. He is also a member of Cal State Fullerton College of Engineering and Computer Science Leadership Council, and has served on the Dean's Advisory Council. Mr. Martinez has previously served on the University's Philanthropic Foundation and been involved in efforts to secure financial aid for minority, first-generation college students enrolled in science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines.
