Deanne Mendoza is the Executive Vice President of Strategic Development and Co-Owner at Teacher Created Materials (TCM), a global educational publishing company. With over two decades of experience in sales and leadership, Deanne is known for fostering strategic alliances and win-win relationships. Her leadership is guided by her commitment to family, authenticity, and curiosity, inspiring collaboration and innovation. Deanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master’s in Business from the University of Southern California. She began her career in sales at Coca-Cola North America, consistently exceeding sales goals, and worked with the mayor of Los Angeles for the Democratic National Committee’s convention in 2000. At TCM, Deanne leads Strategic Partnership and Community Engagement, forming partnerships with organizations like the Los Angeles Rams and Boys and Girls Clubs, aligning TCM’s mission with educational needs. She introduced the TCM Cares Initiative, driving philanthropic efforts and earning recognition as one of Orange County's top community-minded companies. Deanne is integral to TCM’s success, connecting with stakeholders and ensuring the company meets the needs of educators and families. Her leadership includes partnerships with Caterina’s Club and Read Across America, expanding service projects nationwide. Beyond TCM, Deanne serves on boards at Cal State Fullerton and Loyola Marymount University and has received numerous accolades, including “Women of the Year” for the 72nd Assembly District in California and the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
