Having spent most of his career with Capital Pacific Homes, Inc. since it formed in 1991, Scott Coler is a 35-plus year veteran of residential homebuilding. He rose to Division President of its Las Vegas division, then returned to lead in the growth and expansion of the company's Southern California operations during the mid-2000's, where at peak the Company generated $260 million in annual revenues and built and closed 500 homes per year. Through the Great Financial Crisis, he restructured and recapitalized the company as Capital Pacific Real Estate, Inc., retained key management and continued building and pursuing new residential opportunities adapted to the start of a new housing cycle.

Mr. Coler has overseen the building of more than 3,200 homes and approximately $1.7 billion in revenues. Areas of expertise include the negotiation and acquisition of land, housing product design, land entitlement and development, and the construction and delivery of new homes.

An alum of California State University Fullerton’s College of Business and Economics, 1985, Mr. Coler is currently on the Board of the Center for Real Estate, a Board Member on the Dean’s Advisory Board, and chairs the Finance and Investment Committee as a Governor for the Philanthropic Foundation. Previously he served as President of the College's Executive Council. Mr. Coler also participates in the College’s ‘Executive in Residence’ program as a Mentor where he provides guidance to students in the areas of real estate and finance. He holds a California real estate broker’s license and a general contractor’s license.
