Payman Roshan is the senior vice president and area manager of Kaiser Permanente Orange County in Southern California, two Kaiser Foundation hospitals and more than 20 medical office buildings serving nearly 600,000 members throughout Orange County.
Roshan started his journey with Kaiser Permanente in 2005 as the regional director of clinical technology, overseeing the service and maintenance of the region's medical equipment, ensuring safe care delivery. In 2010, Roshan was promoted to assistant medical center administrator for support services at KP Baldwin Park Medical Center, where he later became the chief operating officer in 2012. After a few years in the COO role, he was promoted to senior vice president and area manager of KP Panorama City/Antelope Valley Medical Centers in 2015. In 2021, he moved to KP Downey Medical Center as the senior vice president and area manager and most recently, as of September 2022, he became the senior vice president and area manager for the Orange County service area.
He has a bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering from Mercer University and a master of business administration degree from National University. He has completed the Kaiser Permanente’s Executive Leadership Program at Harvard University as well. Roshan has a keen interest in technology and advancing healthcare instrumentation and innovations.
Roshan is married to Afsaneh, and they have one son, Nicholas. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys playing soccer on Sunday mornings.
